I have been to Captain J's several times (each time I visit Florida). Always great service and great food.
The food was amazing, even for non seafood eaters like me. Very nice atmosphere, great view, and right on the beach! Staff was super friendly and polite, fast service, reasonably priced and overall great experience! 10 out of 10, would eat again
Great view, good food, and the restaurant is practicing as the world has to these days. Had the broiled scallops, hubby had fried platter and daughter had the salmon. We all enjoyed our dishes 😎
Sun deck is amazing, service awesome, ocean view, to die for, and we are right across the beach.
I'm so glad we ended up coming here. Our first night in coco we went else where, not a good experience. We decided to come here our second night and absolutely loved it. First off the staff was amazing, the view was amazing, the drinks amazing, and the food AMAZING. We will be coming here everytime we visit coco!
The place looked very nice and cool from google. Once we got there it was downhill. Although our server was the sweetest girl, she did not know anything about the menu, not even what was in the vegetable medley, we asked for suggestions and she replied she did not eat here often so did not have any real insight. Probably should have been flag #1.. I ordered crab legs, and received kitchen shear scissors to crack them with, they did not have any actualcrab crackers. There was no clarified butter just melted butter. If you are going to have crab legs on the menu be prepared for the utensils that you will need. I ordered a mango colada and it tasted like straight sugar mango juice. The whole lunch was just a bit of a letdown. Will not be going back.
Nice little area next to cocoa beach 🏖. First time for me here. I’m not crazy about the food, I probably will give 3 stars, but the fresh catch of the day seafood is pretty amazing. The eat and peel shrimps was so greasy that taste unbelievable. Live the view on the beach. They have no live music tho. The drinks are ok, they don’t garnish the glass at all. Pretty much feels like cafeteria. The price is reasonable for restaurant on the beach.
Beautiful scenery a nice place to watch the ocean.
I’ll start with the good. The food was surprisingly great! The bad, my wife and I seated ourselves at a table as there were no signs directing people to wait or any acknowledgement from staff. After waiting 15-20 minutes and the manager and wait staff walking by us multiple times and making eye contact, the manager finally came over to our table and took our drink order. For an outdoor restaurant that was maybe at 60% occupancy, the service was extremely poor and lacking. I’m glad we waited long enough to finally receive service though. The teriyaki chicken and crab cakes are definitely worth it.
Menu was very seafood heavy (disclaimer: I don't eat seafood) and that offered very few options for people in my situation.Still, the service was great. The view is incredible. And despite the rather limited options I can eat, I wouldn't hesitate to come back.
Had an amazing dinner here. Our server Deanna went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect. Food was good and you cannot beat the view in all of Cocoa Beach.
My husband and I enjoyed our dinner here. He had the jerk shrimp that was caught that day and I had the crab cakes that were made out of fresh blue crab. Some of the best I have ever had. Deanna, our server was great. Attentive but not over whelming.
